Respite Care for Disabled or Autistic Child
At PHASE, we provide a wide range of options for respite care for children with physical disabilities, and autistic children.
Are you looking for respite care for your disabled child?
With PHASE, you can have the break that you deserve whilst also having the peace of mind that your child is in the capable hands of people who genuinely care and want the best for them. We are a fully trained team with qualifications in First Aid and manual handling as standard.
As our staff are all trained in manual handling, you have no need to worry whether your child’s additional needs are being catered to appropriately.
We are an NDIS registered organisation, which comes with one amazing benefit – your peace of mind. Why? Because this is just further proof that you are choosing the right place for your disabled child’s respite care.
What respite care services do we offer?
As a team, we are able to offer a wide range of respite care services for disabled children, as well as respite care services for autistic children and children with other additional needs, be they physical or otherwise.
All of our respite programmes are designed to ensure a fun, engaging and exciting time for your child, whilst allowing you to feel confident that your child is getting the best care whilst you have a well deserved rest.
Our in-home respite care services allow for this to take place in a setting where your child already feels comfortable. This could be a good respite care option for your child if they have autism as he/she would be more comfortable in a familiar setting. We, at PHASE, understand that even minor changes to routines for children with autism can be a frightening, or unsettling experience, and that is the last thing we want.
We also offer a non-residential weekend respite care program. Our accessible, all-inclusive respite care program will see your child receiving individual support from our fully trained staff, and taking part in exciting and engaging activities.
Our sessions start at 9am and run for either a half or a full day, meaning that they end at either 1pm or 5pm respectively. It is entirely your choice. Our program takes place in the HBF Arena, as its immaculate grounds and outstanding facilities (including a swimming pool!) are all easily accessible to those with a variety of additional needs.
How can you get in contact with us?
At PHASE, unlike a lot of support facilities, we are available 6 days a week. We are open from 7:30am to 6pm Monday to Friday, and 9am until 5pm on Saturdays, so there will always be someone on hand to help you.
If you think that one of our respite care services would be a good fit for you and your family then we would love to hear from you. We are very easy to contact, either pop us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call at 0418 750 524.
